LEBANON COUNTY EMERGENCY RENTAL ASSISTANCE PROGRAM
PROGRAM OVERVIEW
In an effort to help lessen the outbreak’s economic impacts, the program will provide emergency assistance to renters who are at imminent risk of eviction as a result of shutdowns, closures, layoffs, reduced work hours or unpaid leave due to the COVID-19 health crisis.
HOW TO APPLY
Step 1
Complete the application form online or pick-up an application in person at:

Step 2
To prepare for the online application, please review the list of required documents here. The tenant and landlord will need to submit documentation to determine eligibility.
Step 3
A representative will contact all preliminarily eligible applicants via email or phone. Ineligible applicants will receive notice by mail.
Step 4
If your application is approved, rental payments will be sent directly to the landlord or property manager.
ELIGIBILITY REQUIREMENTS
TO BE ELIGIBLE, RENTERS MUST:
An “eligible household” is defined as a renter household in which at least one or more individuals meets the following criteria:
- Priority 1 – Under 50 percent of area median income and unemployed for 90 days
- Priority 2 – Under 50 percent of area median income but not unemployed for 90 days
- Priority 3 – Unemployed for 90 days but over 50 percent of area median income
PROGRAM DURATION AND SCHEDULE:
The Emergency Rental Assistance Program will end on September 30, 2025, or once all funds have been exhausted, whichever is sooner.
INCOME ELIGIBILITY REQUIREMENTS:
Income eligibility requirements – 50/80 percent of the area median:
- 1 Person: $31,200/49,950
- 2 Person: $35,650/57,050
- 3 Person: $40,100/64,200
- 4 Person: $44,550/71,300
- 5 Person: $48,150/77,050
- 6 Person: $51,700/82,750
- 7 Person: $55,250/88,450
- 8 Person: $58,850/94,150
TO APPLY, APPLICANTS MUST INCLUDE:
- 2023 Tax return (form 1040) OR 2 months of most recent paystubs OR unemployment compensation statement
- Signed lease or rental agreement
- Documentation from landlord and/or utility provider
demonstrating arrears owed for each month
requesting assistance - Copy of identification (government issued photo ID
or driver’s license, passport, birth certificate, etc.) - Proof of residence, if not included in other required
documents
